The Temple of the Reclining Buddha, known as Wat Pho in Thai, features the largest collection of buddha images and the largest reclining buddha in Thailand. Dating back to the 16th century, it was the earliest center for public education. Today Wat Pho is the national headquarters for teaching and preservation of traditional Thai medicine, including Thai massage.
